Things to keep in mind before a wax
Waxing is painful and that is why many women are reluctant to try it out. Post-waxing boils and eruptions are also something that can give you a difficult time.
Here are a few things to keep in mind to have a better waxing experience:
- Scrub before you wax. Use a mild exfoliator to scrub off the dead cells, loosen the skin and release hair trapped in the pores.

- Make sure there’s full growth. Let the hair grow fully before waxing. Not only is it difficult to wax undergrown hair, it is also pointless, as the hair won’t get uprooted as they are too small.
- Apply baby powder prior to getting waxed. It instantly softens the skin and makes the process easier. Other fragrant talcum powders don’t work as well as baby powder does.
- Don’t use lotions and ointments. Adding moisture and oil to your skin will make waxing really difficult. Try to keep your skin as dry as possible for a less painful experience.
